The Rincon Vineyard is the home vineyard where Don Talley planted the first vines of Talley Vineyards in 1982 and where the winery is located. Consisting of two hillsides rising from the floor of the Arroyo Grande Valley, the clay calcareous soils of the West Rincon Vineyard yield wines with
distinctive mineral and iron notes.
Light burgundy in appearance, the 2015 vintage of Rincon Vineyard Pinot Noir is ruby in color and offers aromas of strawberry, herb, and cinnamon spice. The palate is soft and plush and exudes vibrant notes of cherry, ripe raspberry, and green tea.
Try pairing this pinot noir with ahi tuna with miso glaze or grilled pork tenderloin.

Welcome to Talley Vineyards
Summer’s just around the corner and we’re preparing for a busy season! Things kick off the very first weekend in June with the opening of our farm stand. If you want access to the best produce on the Central Coast, this is the place to get it. In addition, we’ll be opening our brand new, you-pick berry patch later this summer. The farm stand and berry patch are adjacent to the Rincon Adobe and Tasting Room and will be open Friday-Sunday until Thanksgiving.
Sunday, June 3rd, also marks the 25th Anniversary of the Marianne Talley Fun Run, our single biggest event of the year at the winery and the key fundraiser for the Marianne Talley Foundation, which has provided more than $300,000 in scholarships to Arroyo Grande High School students since 1993. Anyone who beats me in the 5K gets a special commemorative t-shirt. Check out my video for a glimpse of my training regime. For more information about the Fun Run and to register,
go to Marianne Talley Fun Run.
Our popular concert series, Tunes at Talley kicks off with Damon Castillo Band on Sunday, June 10 from 12-3pm. We’ll have concerts every other Sunday throughout the summer, always with a food truck. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than kicking back on our patio and listening to live music with a glass of wine and some delicious food from one of our local chefs.
Speaking of food, I’m excited to host a wine dinner at Ember Restaurant in Arroyo Grande on June 12. Chef Brian Collins will be offering his take on recipes from my cookbook featuring Talley Farms produce paired with our wines. Tickets are $100 and available here.
Cheers! Brian Talley
All Talley Vineyards, Bishop’s Peak, and Mano Tinta wines are handcrafted at the Talley Vineyards winery to reflect three generations of family farming history in San Luis Obispo County. Many of these wines have limited availability and are only available for purchase at the winery or online.
The best way to enjoy Talley Vineyards and Bishop’s Peak wines is as a member of one of our wine clubs. We are pleased to offer membership in either our Talley Family or Estate Subscriber Program.
Take a look at the descriptions to decide which club is the right one for you.
