Deep garnet in color, this red blend has bold aromas of black cherry, sweet tobacco, licorice, and cedar. On the palate, it’s full bodied and smooth with layered flavors of black fruit and dried herbs that finish slightly toasty with silky tannins. Enjoy this wine with grilled sirloin steak
The 2010 year began with above average rainfall, ending a three year drought in the Paso Robles region. July was one of the coolest on record leading to a late harvest and an exceptionally long growing season. Yields in Paso Robles were average and the grapes had lower sugar levels and perfectly developed flavors with lower alcohols in the finished wines.
