Deep purple in color, this malbec has enticingly sweet aromas of blueberry, blackberry and pomegranate with hints of licorice and graham. The mid-palate is full bodied and smooth with flavors of dark fruit and dried herbs that finish with soft, elegant tannins. Enjoy this wine with grilled sirloin steak, and a wild mushroom reduction sauce.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The 2010 year began with above average rainfall, ending a three year drought in the Paso Robles region. July was one of the coolest on record leading to a late harvest and an exceptionally long growing season. Yields in Paso Robles were average and the grapes had lower sugar levels and perfectly developed flavors with lower alcohols in the finished wines.
