Deep garnet in color, this classic Bordeaux blend has bold aromas of blackberry, bright raspberry, ginger, and fresh herbs. On the palate, it's full bodied and smooth with layered flavors of cedar box and baking spice that finish with silky tannins. Enjoy this wine with grilled sirloin or hanger steak.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The 2011 year was wetter than average and spring frost affected many vineyards in the Paso Robles area. Yields were reduced by nearly 30%. One of the coolest summers on record resulted in long hang time and grapes with high natural acidity. The resulting wines balance refreshing acidity with concentrated flavors due to the low yields.
Winemaker Notes
Produced from 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Petit Verdot
