Sunday, July 19, 2009: Lorraine Cote Artist's Reception

July 19, 2009 (1:00pm - 3:00pm)
Please join us on Sunday, July 19 from 1-3pm to meet artist Lorraine Cote and view her beautiful oil paintings of Central Coast subject matter. Lorraine is an emerging artist whose works embody the light, mood and atmosphere of the moment. Over the last 5 years, Lorraine‘s paintings have captured the beauty of the landscape and sea surrounding her home on the Central Coast of California. In the last year, Lorraine has begun to incorporate more figures into her work. Specifically, she has been inspired by the culture and dedication of the men and women who work in California’s agricultural fields.

Lorraine was recently recognized as an outstanding artist when she was accepted into a juried show of international artists sponsored by the United Nations. Her work will be displayed in Geneva at the U.N. Palais des Nations in the fall.

The reception on July 19th from 1-3pm will include complimentary wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres. Meet the artist and view her beautiful portfolio of work. If you are unable to attend on 7/19, Lorraine's paintings will be on display at Talley Vineyards from July 1st through August 31st.
