Tricia Reichert obtained her formal teaching credentials from Battersea College, University of London.
After an early teaching career at various High Schools in the UK, Tricia relocated to the USA with her family. In this country Tricia developed her true passion for art and for the past nineteen years has studied and practiced drawing and painting in a variety of media. Over time, she has become a specialist in the theory and process of portraiture, particularly in the medium of Pastel.
Her other areas of expertise and interest include many forms of Printmaking and Clay Figure Sculpture. She is currently a professional, commissioned, portrait artist with paintings in private collections in the US and Europe.
Tricia is also an art teacher working with groups and individuals on a wide range of classes and workshops, both privately and as part of Cal Poly's Continuing Education division. Contact for more information.
Jim Tyler, of San Luis Obispo, CA, paints exclusively with Pastel. The artist focuses on light and composition. His subjects include Central Coast city scenes, landscapes, portraits, and the human form. Largely self-taught, Tyler began working with Pastels at an early age and began painting seriously in 2001. Since that time he has been the featured artist at several galleries and in numerous juried shows around California.
Talley Vineyards will be pouring at The Grand Tasting by the Sea on Friday, March 3rd at the Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach as part of the 2012 World of Pinot Noir.

The Marianne Talley Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1993 to fund scholarships for college-bound athletes from Arroyo Grande High School. The Fun Run was established as an annual fundraising event in 1994. The run is dedicated to honoring Marianne's memory and her commitment to health, fitness and exercise.
