Pamela Rivas - As a late blooming artist, Pamela Rivas only discovered her love and ability for artistic expression in the last 6 or 7 years. Inspired by her friend and mentor, Stephany Andrews, a Chinese brush painter, she took courses which helped her explore and develop her unique talent for self expression. She has developed an artistic style of her own for capturing and displaying her visual interpretations. Her ability to combine subtle shades of colors with impressionistic representation, makes her art distinctive and unique. Pamela specializes in silk painting from exotic scarves to delicate wall hangings.
Stephany “Long” Andrews - Stephany “Long” Andrews retired to the Central Coast after spending half of her life in the computer industry and half as a middle school teacher. Her work and studies took her out of the country for six years and travel is still one of her passions. She enjoys visiting third world countries and getting to know the people, culture, foods, and art of the area. Since retiring, she has had time to pursue her art and she uses many of the ideas she gleaned from her travels in her paintings. Her primary focus is Chinese Brush Painting or Silk Painting, although she continues to study other mediums.
